Salernes

Salernes is world-renowned for its tiles.  All the handmade tiles of Domaine Les Vaches originate from the artisan kilns of Salernes: from the terracotta floor tiles of the outdoors and indoor spaces, to the rich, glazed tiles of the kitchens and bathrooms.

The Terra Rossa museum in Salernes is an old tile factory and is dedicated to the ceramic art.

The Biocoop at Salernes sources wonderful breads and cheeses.  From its parking lot one can take a pretty walk along the Bresque, which is especially beloved by dogs as there are multiple entry points for a quick, refreshing dip!
